When Lola's cupcakes bakers have failed at their craft, the incredible Stephen and Safiya have saved the day! The day before the celebration, I was in tears when I saw what was going to be my birthday cake (pic attached). The head office team was surprisingly unhelpful, but the team in store have taken it on themselves to make the situation better. They have removed the "30" and sprinkled velvet over the top of the cake, offered candles and other celebratory stuff, and even bonus Oreo cupcakes!! So incredibly grateful to them for saving my cake, can't thank them enough!

I visited today while shopping as part of my hen and wanted to take some cakes home for my children, the lady working was soooo lovely - I wanted a red velvet but the only one left was Vegan - and I know they just aren't the same. But the lady was so helpful offering me mini ones instead and was so chatty, she congratulated me on being the bride and wished me a lovely wedding. Despite there being a small queue forming there was no pressure to be served quickly making me feel like myself as a customer was important. Will definitely be back when we visit again :)
