We had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at the Old Bakery. We were greated by Nina on arrival who was very welcoming and showed us around telling how things worked. She gave us a very informative run down of the local area including where to eat and shop. The accommodation was immaculate and fully equipped with every that you need for a comfortable stay. In addition Nina provided us with some essentials to start is off which we were very grateful for as after our journey we were certainly ready for a cup of tea. The local area had a lot to offer with plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs in walking distance and a little further a supermarket and another collection of local shops to browse. More importantly for us, the local train station (winchmore hill station) was only a 2 minute walk away which was ideal for our trips into the city with regular trains to catch which connect you to the underground enabling you to then travel to various locations around the city of London. We never waited nn more than 10 minutes for a train and we travelled off peak time. In addition to this we actually enjoyed a day and a few evenings just exploring the local area. We walked around the local park and a bit further into Enfield shopping centre. So in summary there is plenty to do when you stay at the old bakery and offers a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere which is like home from home. We would definitely return as i feel there is more to see.
