I ordered two cakes through The Vanilla Bird Cake Company which I'd found on a google search. I discussed with Helen my ideas for both the cakes and Helen was very helpful explaining how she would achieve certain aspects of the designs and taking her time to go through all the flavours and options available and adding professional suggestions and advice. Her communication was fantastic throughout and the transactions easy. There was no need for any doubts as both cakes were absolutely stunning!! They looked beautiful and received several compliments. We had a rainbow sponge which I've never seen layers with so much colour and delicious taste! This was a huge hit with the children. The chocolate layer and red velvet layer were also delicious but I think my favourite has to be the Victoria sponge - it was just perfect. Helen delivered both cakes and helped me set them up. I honestly couldn't recommend her enough and will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you Helen!

This cake was so beautiful and captured a precious memory of myself and my husband when we were young and carefree, just lazing around cuddled up listening to our favourite song. The cake brought tears to my eyes, so much so that I didn’t want to cut it, it was made so perfectly and so I decided we’d eat the cake but keep the iced figures as a lasting memory, as it was made to celebrate our 20 wedding anniversary. Thanks you so much Helen it was amazing. X

Helen did a great job with the birthday cake , it was exactly as the Picture she showed us , Brilliantly done , everyone who came to the party took pics of the cake , very impressed , thanks very much Helen for an amazing cake .
